Hi! I’m a physiotherapist specializing in pediatrics and adolescent care, with extensive experience in both primary and special health care. I know that many aspects of a baby’s or child’s movement can understandably worry parents. Play, climbing and exploration are part of childhood—unfortunately, pain, overuse injuries and accidents sometimes too. I provide gentle, goal-oriented, family-centered rehabilitation for both motor development concerns and recovery from pain or injury.
I have broad expertise in musculoskeletal conditions, movement assessment, and supporting motor skills through physiotherapy. I have also worked at the Children’s Hospital pain clinic with persistent pain and functional symptoms. In addition, I teach future physiotherapists at a university of applied sciences, which keeps my practice current and evidence-based.
You can book an appointment with me for help with, for example:
- Atypical or delayed development; motor assessments
- Postural asymmetries (e.g., head-turning/position preference, torticollis, plagiocephaly)
- Parent guidance in infant handling
- Motor skill training for infants and children
- Lower-limb overuse problems and persistent pain
- Back overuse injuries and back pain
- Neck-shoulder pain and headaches
- Overuse injuries, accidents and fractures, and post-operative rehabilitation
- Persistent and sensitized pain
- Mobility, endurance and strength training
You are warmly welcome to my clinic!
