I am a specialist in pediatric surgery, and I treat surgical problems in children and adolescents, such as various injuries, fractures, wounds, burns, abdominal pain, testicular pain, hernias, lumps, moles and other skin changes, constipation, and incontinence issues.
I previously worked full-time at the New Children's Hospital in Helsinki and in other pediatric surgery units in the central hospitals of the HUS region. I have over 10 years of work experience from these and the old Children's Hospital. My other work experience includes Uppsala Children's Hospital in Sweden and the Trauma Unit at Charlotte Maxeke General Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have published scientific articles on pediatric traumatology. I have worked as the doctor responsible for the training of pediatric surgeons for the HUS region.
I perform surgeries (e.g., hernias, undescended testicles, foreskins, skin changes, and lumps) at the Pikkujätti Kamppi clinic.
