I specialize in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and neural tissue conditions according to the Maitland Concept. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of pain conditions, movement-related problems and sports injuries. As a former national-level competitive runner, I have a good understanding of sports, training and the physical demands placed on the body. Everyone is welcome at my practice – from active athletes to those whose movement is currently limited by pain or other problems.
My approach is to listen carefully and understand what is causing the client’s symptoms. I assess movement, physical function and load on the body, aiming to identify the underlying factors contributing to the symptoms. Depending on the individual needs, treatment may include manual therapy such as joint mobilization, fascial and soft tissue techniques, as well as therapeutic exercise. Treatment is always tailored to the client’s individual situation and goals. It is important to me that clients feel comfortable coming to my appointment and that they feel heard and understood.
