School readiness assessment
The school readiness of a child is influenced by the child’s general level of development, which varies greatly in children at this age.
A child’s intellectual or motoric challenges may cause difficulties when starting school. As an alternative, the age at which a child begins school can be postponed, or the child’s schooling can also be facilitated through different forms of educational support.
A psychologist and/or neuropsychologist makes an assessment about the situation, and on the basis of their recommendations, the school authorities will attempt to find the best solution together with the family.
