Food exposures

Food exposures

Food exposures are made when there is a suspicion that a child may be allergic to a foodstuff that is part of the child’s core diet. The examination is performed by a nurse under the supervision of a doctor.

The suspected foodstuff is given to the child in increasing amounts according to a standard formula, and possible symptoms are recorded accurately.
